I recently spent a couple of nights at Lasinthos Eco Park, a charming gem nestled in Crete's breathtaking landscape. The warm welcome from Manos and Dimitris was immediate, providing an engaging glimpse into local culture. Our spacious apartment, complete with kitchen utensils and an electric kettle, offered comfort in a simple yet traditional setting. The picturesque views of the Lasithi plateau from our terrace were stunning, making mornings exciting. A highlight was the traditional breakfast featuring fresh, local produce at only €7-a real steal for the quality! While some areas could use a touch-up to enhance guest experience, the eco-park's ambiance combined with unique activities like animal feeding and local crafts keeps it captivating. Plus, the hosts went above and beyond during our stay, showcasing their dedication to hospitality. Lasinthos balances cost and luxury-worth considering for a tranquil escape.
